Thanksgiving is over but reasons to celebrate are not. There are more ways to bring love and care in this world. Be it our neighboring planet Mars or celebrating French Toast Day with our lifesavers. Let’s express our love and care to all the beautiful things in the world. Here at Bragsocial, we bring you two important events that occurred on November 28 to celebrate and enjoy.
Red Planet Day
With the recent expedition of a Space research organization to Mars, be it tweets from SpaceX or NASA, we are curious about this red planet. Other than being part of our solar system, it also has it’s own day to celebrate. This November 28th, we will talk about Mars and know more about it. Red Planet Day celebrates our knowledge and recognizes the hard work of brilliant minds behind it.
History
Discovered by Galileo in 1610, Mars gets its name from the ancient Roman deity. Since it is Red, it was associated with blood in ancient times. Mars is considered as Earth’s smaller twin due to its size and visible water on the surface. This planet may harbor life. It is accompanied by its two moons, Phobos and Deimos. Interestingly, Phobos and Deimos are twin brothers in Greek Mythology. Also, Volcano Olympus Mons is the highest mountain in our Solar System. This is about two and a half times Mt. Everest.
How to Celebrate?
Know more about our distant neighbor. After Earth, Mars is the most habitable planet in the Solar system. For instance, you can watch movies like ‘ The Martian’ or ‘Red Planet’. You can also read more about Mars. Books like ‘Curiosity: The Story of a Mars Rover’ or ‘The Martian’ explain the human understanding of this planet. Also, there are many news articles about Mars and the ongoing expedition.
French Toast Day
It is said that breakfast should be eaten heavily. When you have something as yummy as a french toast, you will eat more. The sweet bread with fresh fruits and eggs. The best combination for breakfast. Some even savor it during lunch or dinner time! This is also one breakfast that makes you miss home if you are out.
History
Egg, milk, cream bread. These four regular ingredients are what inspired the French Toast. The Germans and people of Bombay who thrive on eggs and bread are also a reason. Although we call it French Toast, it is not originating from France. It is in fact a Latin recipe originating from Germany! What a journey one piece of bread is making! This November 28 is chosen as French toast day to honor the sweet breakfast. And also the types and varieties of recipes this dish has all over the world
How to celebrate
The celebration of this day is as easy as it goes. Just grab a couple of strawberries, bananas. Some milk, eggs, bread, and butter. Even add some maple syrup or honey if you like. After that just cook up some delicious french toast and serve it with orange juice. This is the perfect combination of sweet and healthy. Call over friends and family and celebrate this day.
