Chinese Language Day

Introduction 

Chinese is one of the oldest languages on earth. It is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Chinese Language Day is celebrated every year on April 20. The history of the Chinese language dates back many years. However, it is one of the most important languages today in the world. Its importance grew due to its presence in business worldwide.

The existence of the Chinese is thousands of years old in this world. The origin of Chinese is known to the Shino-Tibetan language family. After the separation from this family, the origins remain unknown. The complexity of the language dates it back to Cangjie. Cangjie is a legendary figure in Chinese history. He was a historian in the court of the Yellow Emperor and is considered the inventor of the Chinese. Therefore, this day is celebrated to honor Cangjie. The United Nations (UN) founded this day to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity. In 1946, it became the official language of the UN. 

How to Celebrate

You can start learning the language. There are so many online portals offering the course. You will learn all about the complexity of this language. If you already know the language, you teach it to your family and friends. Also, put it on your resume. Your eligibility will rise for some jobs. Also, some connections may you surprise you.

National Look Alike Day

Introduction

Ever wondered when your friends say that you look like some celeb or you said it to one of your friends. It is said that seven people in the world look exactly like you. Therefore, today, April 20, is the day to celebrate National Look Alike Day. Many celebrities look like each other. Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard are siblings and were separated at birth. No no, not truth but a belief by fans. There are others like Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez, Danial Radcliff, and Elijah Wood. The list is endless. 

History

TV presenter Jack Etzel created in the 1980s. It is a fun holiday to celebrate these amazing coincidences when you find your doppelganger. Introducing a doppelganger in a storyline is common all over the world. It brings new twists to the story and makes it interesting. Therefore, in 1991, in the second season of “Twin Peaks”, the doppelganger of Special Agent Dale Cooper was introduced. In the popular series, How I Met Your Mother, doppelgangers of all the lead characters were shown throughout the show.

How to celebrate

It is a fun holiday so go ahead and celebrate. If you know someone with whom people confuse you every time, spend the day with them. Dress up like each other, go out and let people guess. If your doppelganger is a celebrity then dress up like them. Also, you can post your pictures on social media tagging that person. You can be lucky enough to meet them in person.
