Chemical Weapons were heavily used during World War I. This resulted in more than a hundred thousand casualties. And over a million deaths. The use of this surely wins a battle, it may even win the war. But the bigger picture here to see is how much damage and after effects, it has on all living beings. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is the reason for the elimination of chemical warfare. This is done in the interest of saving as many both civilian and military lives as possible.
