We have successfully completed half a year. 2020 is flying by like a shooting star, and here we are at July. It is a long year ahead just like the months that went by. The days that passed have taught us many things and we are going to rock the rest of the months as well. We bring to you the different reasons we should be celebrating each day through this Today column so read on to know why you should.
Math 2.0 Day
Most of us hated Math as kids. It was a nightmare to study for math tests and attending those tests made us pray all night. We must have questioned at least once while encountering a difficult question, what is the use of all these long equations that do not make any sense. Also now we have witnessed a myriad of new technological developments. It might not come as a surprise to many of you that the foundation laid behind all these tech amusements come from Mathematics. It is the creative ability of the engineers and the amazements of Math that has led the world here. So today is the day to celebrate mathematics along with the engineers who have made this possible.
You can use any means to celebrate today. You can revisit the old college books that had you go weak in the knees then. Just reminisce those days and laugh about it. If you have a friend who works with these regularly, tell them that you’re thankful to them.
Freezer Pop Day
The world is getting hotter by the day. There is news each day that we have hit a new all-time high temperature ever recorded. But all these reasons do not give us the luxury to stay home and take rest. All of us need to step out into the sun and work. Sweating it all the day might also annoy us at times. So today we have the best companion which can refresh our hearts and tongues together. No, we are not talking about ice creams but those chilled iced lollies that have been reshaped and called freezer pops. They might have been your best friend as a school-goer. So today, take this opportunity to revisit those days.
Meet your favorite ice cream seller and buy a bunch of pops, not only for you but for everyone else at your workplace. If you stay at home today, why not try making it at home. Cool yourself down and enjoy the summer to the fullest.
