Frenchman C Hopffer patents the automatic fire extinguisher
Frenchman C Hopfer was a celebrated chemist. Before 1722, the fire was escaped with the help of water. Later in 1722, the first automatic fire extinguisher was patented in England. It consisted of a cask of fire-extinguishing liquid which had a pewter chamber of gunpowder, connected with fuses. When ignition hits, it explodes gunpowder and scatters the solution.

Streptomycin, the first antibiotic remedy for tuberculosis isolated
