We have successfully completed half a year. 2020 is flying by like a shooting star, and here we are at the end of July. It is a long year ahead just like the months that went by. The days that passed have taught us many things and we are going to rock the rest of the months as well. We bring to you the different reasons we should be celebrating each day through this Today column so read on to know why you should.
Creativity is the ability to create, the ability to forge our energy into something that we believe, we vouch for, and would turn the oceans around to make it happen. And, all of us have humongous amounts of this creativity inherent in us. Some of us find it, drag it to the front and show it to the world to see. Some just keep it aside, owing to the competition of life and the thresholds the world pushes has set since forever. Not to forget, energy is neither created nor destroyed and is waiting to be used the way you would like to. So, take it as a challenge to find your energy and the favorite way to channelize it. Life is too short to leave things untried!
I’ll drench in the rain of stars,
It need not exist in real time,
For it stays in my heart, forever.

We have another reason to celebrate today. Let us become more human today, let us spread happiness and positivity. Today is ‘Love is Kind Day’, the perfect occasion.
We, as humans, come under the animal kingdom of species. We are referred to as social animals and are expected to show societal values. It will be of complete disregard if we say only human beings show values, but all other animals do. The catch is we do not expect them to do so, but humans are obliged to be kind and virtuous. And, that makes the institution of the family a part of our identity.
But, with fading time we are slowly forgetting the essence of being kind, and spreading love. To remind the very reason for our existence, and to spread positivity all over to everyone, Rosie Aiello and Sunny co-founded The Love is Kind Network and proclaimed the Love is Kind Day. Also, the day fights with the extensive misuse of the term ‘family’ and using it as an excuse for domestic abuse. It humbly reminds me that love is kind, and kind is love.
To celebrate the day, let us pledge to be kinder to our family, and everyone who is around us. Fight against any domestic violence at home, and help such survivors. Also, smile as much as you could and spread positivity to everyone with and around you.
