The game of the intellect originated from India in the fifth century. The game fascinated the Arabs, and its journey to wondrous everyone in the world began. The World Chess Federation was found in 1924. Subsequently, the launch of International Chess Day happened in 1966 on the same day. Chess is a game that can keep us indoors, yet give the adrenaline rush of participating in an adventure sport. Over the years, there have been several chess clubs that take initiative to organize chess tournaments every year.
