This is the most controversial trend that breaks the societal notion and rewriting the fashion rules. Celebrities and influencers resurrected the 90s low-rise baggy jeans and wearing them purposefully with sensual g-strings. Let us not forget that some are going an extra mile by adorning their mast with rhinestones, pearls, and gold chains.

Corsets

Thanks to dreamt settings of The Crown, The Great, Bridgerton, and other surreal period dramas because the internet is obsessed with corsets. Yes, this historical piece to ‘beautify women’ (smaller waist and larger bottoms) and often associated a way of oppression is now making a comeback in the modern era as a form of empowerment. This trend of underwear as outerwear allows women to flaunt or conceal their bodies on their terms. Corsets paired with loose pants, baggy jeans, or a pretty skirt are a symbol of sexual empowerment

Sheer Layering

One surprising trend that came up this year is Sheer Layering. Yes, sheering layering is still a thing. Sheer is a skin-bearing fabric that became a thing after summer/spring fashion week 2019.
