The first Peace Rose he develops names as number 3-35-40. This Peace Rose was developed with the help of hybridization.
The Peace Rose has won several awards which are All-America Rose Selections Award in 1946, The Gold Rose of Hague in the year 1965. Also wins The American Rose Society National Gold Medal Certificate in 1947. This Peace Rose is also chosen for the “World’s Favourite Rose”, and inducted in the Rose Hall of Fame.
