World’s first COVID-19 Vaccine

On Tuesday, Russia has reported that it sees a strong world interest in the usage of its first ‘Sputnik V’ coronavirus vaccine, adding that Russia intends to conduct phase 3 trials in different countries.
The RDIF, which finances Sputnik V production to Russia, has also confirmed that it aims in collaboration with Local Sovereign Fund funds, including India, South Korea and Brazil, and even Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Cuba, to begin mass production in other countries. Moscow aims to begin a mass vaccination program in October while mass production of vaccine is scheduled to commence in September.
