The history of National Magic Day dates back to 1938. A member of the Society of American Magicians took permission to mark 31 October as Houdini Day, in the remembrance of Harry Houdini. Harry Houdini was one of the most renowned magicians. He developed a variety of techniques and stage magic tricks.
