Spreading love and care to your people as well as the surrounding is always important. In addition to this, what’s important is the spread of positivity. We all have different goals in life, but all we need to aim for one single goal too, that is there should be no orphanages and old age homes.
So we at BragSocial, respect every senior citizen and poet out there Today, celebrating National Senior Citizens Day.
National Senior Citizens Day
This day is recognized in honor and respect to every Senior citizen for their devotion, hard work, and services they rendered to us throughout their lives.
As well as to spread awareness about the issues faced by them as well as elder abuse.
History
It was officially founded by the former President of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan. He had signed on August 19, 1988, the promulgation of 5847. This made him the first person to announce this date as National Day for the Third Age.
Purpose
The main purpose of this day is to raise awareness as well as appreciate the devotion of all the senior citizens towards the growth of the country. They sacrifice their happiness not only for work but foremost for their families. To admire this selfless service we celebrate National Senior Citizens Day. It is an important moment to remind the government of its commitment to work towards goals, to help seniors and, among other things, to end hunger and poverty for the elderly and people of all ages.
How to observe?
Spend time with senior citizens at your house or any other you know. Visit old age orphanages and enjoy with them, make them laugh, and feel that they are loved and appreciated.and make sure you always respect and love every senior citizen out there, and not only on this single day.
“By the time you’re eighty years old you’ve learned everything. You only have to remember it”
– George Burns
Our senior citizens deserve more than respect and adoration they are getting. Special policies for them should be a prior step by the government to make this day a meaningful one. On the other hand, we as countrymen should ensure that we can make them feel special and loved the best way we can.
