We are back again with some amazing days to celebrate with you. Today is the day to honor the volunteers for the Red Cross Society of America through the American Red Cross Giving Day. The other day is Bulldogs Are Beautiful Day. So, go ahead and celebrate both these days.

Today we celebrate the American Red Cross Day. The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization. It works for assisting people in emergencies like disasters, diseases and educating them about disaster preparations. The American Red Cross Day is a celebration for the volunteers who work tirelessly to help people. Without them, it would be impossible to help so many people who are ravaged by disasters, wars, and emergencies.
History
It was celebrated the first time in the year 2015. Red Cross is a 24 hours organization working for the people. They not only work at the time of disasters or emergencies. But every time preparing for the next disaster or emergency that will happen. When a family is destroyed by a disaster, the Red Cross comes to their aid and helps them stand on their feet. They continuously do blood drives. Since blood emergencies are never-ending. They have vaccinated over 300,000 children against measles and rubella. Also, they work with military families and members and support them.
How to celebrate
The Red Cross is a reminder that nothing is impossible with our support and efforts. Therefore, you can help them and celebrate this day in many ways. First and foremost, you can help them by staying at home during this pandemic and follow all the guidelines. Also, you can donate money to the organization. If you can not help financially, you can help by making other people aware of their efforts and motivating them to keep going on.
Bulldogs Are Beautiful Day
Are you a dog lover? Do you love to cuddle with your favorite pet? Well, today’s celebration is for you. Today we are celebrating the “Bulldogs are beautiful day”. Bulldogs are muscular build with wrinkled faces and pushed up noses. They are not considered elegant dogs. But many love this distinctive breed. Many people find them lovable and cute. This day is to appreciate this adorable breed.
History
This day is celebrated on the day when bulldogs were officially recognized as dog breeds in 1886. The association of bulldogs are with Asiatic Mastiff. Asiatic Mastiff breed is 4000 B.C. in the Mesopiantian era. This breed was introduced by travel nomads to the Europeans. Since then many breeds of bulldogs are introduced. These are English bulldog, American bulldog, and French bulldog. Also, some famous bulldogs are Tillman and Uga. Tillman is an English bulldog with skateboarding skills whereas Uga is a mascot for the University of Georgia Bulldog. Hence, people celebrate these fuzzy and lovable creatures.
How to celebrate
If you own a bulldog then spend time with it. Also, appreciate them being in your life. Post pictures on social media platforms with your dog. Moreover, if you do not have a dog and you are a dog lover, then adopt one.
