We have successfully completed half a year. 2020 is flying by like a shooting star, and here we are at the end of July. It is a long year ahead just like the months that went by. The days that passed have taught us many things and we are going to rock the rest of the months as well. We bring to you the different reasons we should be celebrating each day through this Today column so read on to know why you should.
Mango Day
Summers have two extremes. They are sometimes very harsh on us making us sweat tirelessly, but also bring in many complementary food options, to relish on. From ice creams to several fruits are exclusively available in the hot seasons alone. And, we are here to celebrate one such fruit, often termed the king of all fruits, the mangoes. India was the first country to cultivate mangoes, 5000 years ago. Then they made their way to the whole of the globe, spanning across the Asian countries. The fruit gets the honor of being the national fruit of many countries, including India, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
Mango is the star of the day, and we are obliged to celebrate the lustrous berry. You could make yourself a mango smoothie yourself, and celebrate a cozy evening with your family. Also, make the day mango-themed, and give mangoes all the respect they deserve and the celebration they need.
Hot Dog Day
Hot dogs paved their way to all celebrations, and have been a constant part of all road trips, making all of them memorable. The day allows us to celebrate this amazing snack and its history. Hot dog day is a huge holiday and is celebrated all over the world, particularly in the US. There are multiple varieties of hot dogs and are deeply rooted in our memories. Today we celebrate these amazing spicy foods that have given us so much and made our all unique memories refreshing.
Today could be celebrated in any way one wishes to. Make the best hot dog for everyone else, and enjoy the day to the fullest. Surprise your colleague who loves these and have the best out of the day!
