Nature Photography Day
Nature has endowed us with so much mercy. The amazing creation of the Lord has been a gift to enjoy for our eyes. What is the best way to keep this beauty a part of ourselves? The answer remains to be capturing them in a frame and treasuring it till the rest of our life. Capturing the magnificence of nature and keeping it with ourselves is something that everyone who loves nature does. But, we do miss out on all these, attributing it to our busy schedules. Today is a day to remind you, that all of us are rooted in the grassland and we are part of this ecosystem.
So, take out your camera and set on a mission to capture this beauty for yourself.
Why shouldn’t we spend a day with this amazement, when we have been given one? The best way to celebrate this day remains to be setting out and staying close to the greens. Accompany your friends to a garden and let your creativity come out in the form of pictures. Also, don’t forget to tag a nature enthusiast like you.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
The Elderly being subjected to abuse has been prevalent for quite some years and is one of the most gruesome acts that could happen to anyone in a family. The elderly deserve love and support for sacrificing their whole lives for the betterment of their future generations. This day illustrates the importance of having a world, a place to live in, where the elderly are not vulnerable to financial, emotional, and physical abuse and are able to live peacefully.
The United Nations General assembly chose 15 June as the day to help and create awareness about the abuse the elderly go through every day.
Celebrating today is not a tedious task. We need to just let our grandparents or any elder in our family know that they are being respected and loved for being there in our lives. Reach out to organizations that work for the help of the elderly and share your help and volunteer to help them at their need. Ask people known to you to help the elderly in their families and share a word about the importance of today. All elders need to be respected and should be loved, not because we owe something but they deserve it.
