301 AD – San Marino, one of the smallest nations in the world was found.

This country is the world’s oldest surviving republic. It came into existence on 3rd September 301 AD by San Marinus. The current population of San Marino is evaluated to be around 33,860.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1783- Treaty of Paris signed

The Treaty of Paris was signed between the USA and Great Britain in Paris. It was signed to officially end the American Revolutionary War. Estimated by this date 50,000 Kurdish civilians and soldiers were killed by Iraq, many using chemical weapons, in aftermath of the Iran-Iraq War.

1939 – Britain and France declare war on Germany

The Iran-Iraq war was started by Saddam Hussein in the month of September. It involved severe attacks with armed as well as chemical weapons, creating an adverse effect on the people of both sides. It resulted in millions of casualties and huge damages including billions of killings and deaths.

2004- Russian school siege ends in Bloodbath

The Beslan Massacre began on 3rd September and lasted for three days. It concluded with the illegal imprisonment of around 1100 people as hostages and the deaths of 334 hostages.
