1777 – The Article of Confederation is approved

The Articles of Confederation was the first constitution of the United States of America. The constitution was an agreement among 13 original states. The Continental Congress adopted the constitution on November 15, 1777. The prime focus of the constitution was to preserve the independence of sovereign states. The constitution was approved by all 13 states and ratified on March 1, 1781. While the Article was in ratification, it dealt with Native American issues. They hoped to build a stronger government whilst addressing territorial issues.
1806 -1st US college magazine, Yale Literary Government, publishes 1st issue
The Yale literary magazine was founded in 1806. It is one the oldest magazines in the US. The magazine published its first issue on November 15, 1806. Not to mention, it is considered the first US college magazine in history. The magazine is published biannually and features fiction and poetry twice per year. This section features masterpieces of the Yale Undergraduates. Currently, it conducts and publishes interviews with high-profile literary figures. The magazine also produces monthly daily news and a special issue for its readers.
1881 – American Federation of Labor (AFL) founded (Pittsburgh)

The American Federation of Labor was formerly known as the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions of the United States and Canada. It was created on November 15, 1881.It was a federation of labor unions. Samuel Gompers was the founder of the federation. The ratification took place at Turner Hall in Pittsburgh. The American Federation of Labor was a loose amalgamation of both skilled and unskilled craft unions. They looked for tangible economic gains, such as higher wages, shorter hours, and better conditions
1920 – The first League of Nations session in Geneva
The League of Nations was the first worldwide intergovernmental organization formed. Its main principle was to maintain worldwide peace and work on related issues. The organization focused on preventing wars and settling international disputes through negotiation. In 1919, Forty-two nations ratified the organization. Thus, the League of Nations was formally set forth on January 10, 1920. The first league of Nations session was held in Geneva on November 15, 1920, with forty-one nations. However, the League of Nations was dissolved in 1946, with the establishment of the United Nations.
1938 – Farewell Parade of International Brigades in Barcelona

On November 15, a farewell parade was held for the members of the International Brigades. The parade took place in Barcelona. The Comintern, an international organization recruited and organized the International Brigades. The Brigades comprised of foreign volunteers from over 50 countries. These volunteers fought on the republican side against Nationalist forces during the Spanish Civil War. However, the Brigades was formally withdrawn from Spain as Prime Minister Juan Negrin negotiated with Great Britain for military support.
