Can fast food be healthy? Is it possible? Thinking about fast food being healthy is quite difficult. Especially for people who have different diseases. Eating fast food is not good for healthy people. Then how can it be healthy for unhealthy people? For people with health conditions like diabetes and PCOS, it becomes more difficult. Having a spice in life is important otherwise life will be monotonous. But eating fast food every other day is also not healthy. Being a diabetic, people need to take special care of their diet. The elements in the food need to be incorrect proportions. Having carbs is a strict no-no. Having lots of protein is very essential. Also, add a lot of fiber to your diet. Furthermore, having sugar is also not allowed. Therefore you need to have fresh fruits. Avoid having soft drinks. Drinks like fresh lime soda or lemonade can be a substitute for soft drinks. Have juices but without added sugar Also include oats in your diet. Moreover, use olive oil instead of refined oil for cooking. Let us see what healthy fast food you can make. 

Chinese

White rice is an important part of Chinese cuisine. But at the same time, white rice is high in carbs. Therefore while making Chinese, avoid using white rice. Use brown rice instead. Brown rice is more healthy than white rice. But be careful to use a small amount only. While making noodles, avoid noodles made with white flour. Use the noodles made with other than white flour. Also, add lots and lots of vegetables to your food. For making dumplings use wheat flour or rice flour instead of white flour.

Pizza is food that is everyone’s favorite all around the world. But it can be very unhealthy with lots of calories and high carbs. But what can we do of the desire which tempts us to grab a bite whenever we get a chance. Did you know that pizza can be made healthy and tasty at the same time? Just make some variations in the recipe and you will be having a healthy pizza. While making a pizza, keep the crust thin.

Also, add vegetables as toppings. Do not use extra cheese and high fiber meat for the toppings. Also, you have a side salad to keep your blood sugar level in line. Pasta is another mouth-watering dish that we all love. Again, you can make healthy pasta by changing some ingredients. For making pasta, use whole wheat pasta rather than white flour pasta. Also, put lots of vegetables in your pasta. Avoid white sauce pasta. You can have chicken pasta instead. 

Mexican

Mexican is another cuisine we all love. Tacos, burritos, and wraps are absolute love for many people. While having wraps make sure that they are either corn or whole wheat. Also, add lots of vegetables. Furthermore, you can also add a small scoop of guacamole. The healthy fats from the avocado will help your body to absorb carbohydrates more slowly. This will lead to a more gradual rise and fall in blood sugar levels. But do not forget guacamole is also high in calories. So, use a little bit. Brown rice is also a healthy choice while making Mexican food.

Being a sweet tooth and diabetic can be very disheartening. But do not worry as you can eat healthy desserts. Oats are a blessing while making dessert. You can make pancakes, muffins, cakes, and pastries with oats. It will be as delicious as made from regular flour. Also, it will not affect your health negatively. While having coffee, have a decaf that is unsweetened or has low sugar syrups. Avoid coffee and tea with sugar or sugar syrup.

Sandwiches and Hamburgers

When we are hungry, the fastest food we think is either a sandwich or a hamburger. But do we have healthy options in it? Of course! There is not a single dish in the world that cannot be made healthy. So, for a sandwich or burger, choose grilled or broiled. Add as many vegetables as you can to them. Have a side salad with them. Also, avoid fried foods with them. For drinks, you can have lemonade or fresh lime soda. Avid soft drinks. You can substitute potatoes with sweet potatoes.
