We go through time so seamlessly, often we do not even realize that a day is over until the sun sets or the evening tea comes in. In our busy schedules and on the mission to chase dreams every day, we forget to live the moment, and just pass through each day rather than living each day. We need not require a purpose to celebrate each day because every day is significant. Here, through the today column, we bring to you the significance of each day. Read on.
World Post Day
The world started communicating with each other several centuries ago. Yet, to transcend messages across miles was a tedious task, and wasn’t possible until the post was invented. We, as a species, have evolved with everything just a text away. But, the idea to ponder over is, if not the post, we could not have built messages, chats, comments, and so many media apps, keeping it as a base.
Today, we celebrate the same, the pioneer of communication, as a remembrance for rejoicing the founding anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, headquartered in Switzerland. The Union created a revolution for sorts giving the common public the luxury to write letters and chat over calls. Not to forget still, the post is very much in use, and many official documents are deemed valid in print and are transported through posts. One can obviously use this day to send some letters to your beloved ones and revisit the idea of the post yet again!
Vet Nurse Day
Medical professionals are respected and honored all over the world. Yet, the sad part is we often arrange the professionals in a hierarchy according to the kind of job they perform. But, today is a day to garner attention towards one such service done by many people to safeguard and take care of our furry, feathery family. Yes, we are talking about the veterinary nurses, who keep running around the clinics to help us live happily.
Take this opportunity to show them some gratitude. Let your personal nurses know how important they are and make them feel happy for at least today. The service that they provide to us is unmatchable, and we could not deny the recognition they deserve. Spread the word around, tell your friends what they are missing!
