National Publicist Day
National Publicist Day recognizes the publicists and their press releases in the country. In 1906, the New York Times printed the first press release written by Ivy Lee. It was about the incident in New Jersey. Around 50 people lost their lives when a three-car train jumped a trestle in New Jersey and plunged into a thoroughfare creek. This press release resulted in providing reporters to the scene of the accident. The New York Times printed the first press release—verbatim—on Oct. 30, 1906, as a “Statement from the Road.”
Press releases are the biggest source of information for everyone. The apt solution to the Right to information. From what is happening around us, to brand promotions everything is effortlessly handled by the media. The team behind each press release works day and night to serve us the correct information and at the right time.
