Always remember, handmade cards carry a touch of love and affection with them. It is important to show their love and affection whenever we can. Here are some fun ideas to try around.

    Pop up Christmas Card

This is a simple way to make a 3D Christmas cards. We merely have to take green colored papers and make paper fan folds each being smaller than the other. Starting with the biggest paper fan we have to stick it at the bottom of the base card which is followed by other paper fans in the ascending order. When we open the base card, it gives the pop up feel.

  • Quilled Christmas Wreath Card

This card is really creative and will definitely amaze your loved ones. We have to draw an outline of a wreath on a base card, quill some green and red quilling strips with the help of a quilling machine . you can also use hands and just paste them within the outlines of the wreath. We can decorate it by cutting thermocol balls into half and pasting it around the wreath. Some rhinestones will enhance the beauty of the card.

  • Button Bauble Card

Here, we have to draw strings, ribbons and bauble holders on the base card with the help of a sketch pen or a marker, starting from the top of the card. After that, we have to paste buttons just beneath the bauble holder.They can be of different colors and sizes. This card is effortlessly cute. We can also use these buttons to make a snowman card. Take three white buttons each smaller than the previous one and place them on the card from bottom to top in a descending manner. We can also add ribbons to it. It will look like a scarf.

  • Fingerprint Reindeer Card 

This is something you can do right away if you have an acrylic paint. All you have to do is dip your thumb or index finger in brown acrylic paint. Press it onto the base card to create a fingerprint. Add eyes and antlers by drawing them with the help of a sketch pen or marker. We can also make the nose by painting a red circle with the help of a paintbrush  at the bottom. This won’t take more than five minutes. We will have adorable reindeers to beautify the Christmas card.

  • Ribbon Christmas Card

It is one of the easiest ways to make the Christmas cards on short time. Take one end of the ribbon and place it obliquely on the base card. Next, paste that end of the ribbon on the base card which frames the top of the tree. At the second end, fold the ribbon to the opposite direction (keeping it oblique) and paste the axis of the fold on the base card and keep repeating until the tree comes into shape.

  • Washi Tape Christmas Tree Card  

Washi tape Christmas trees are indeed hassle-free. We stick the different types of washi tapes on the base card horizontally. They should be in an increasing order lengthwise. At last, we just have to stick a piece of washi tape at the bottom vertically for the trunk of the tree.

  • Pom-pom Christmas Tree Card  

Pom-pom cards are total adorbs. We have to draw a triangle on the green paper (any size).  Cut it out and then paste the pom-poms on the triangle. We are done after pasting this triangle on the base card. Also, add an embellishment such as a star or any other decorative item on top of the pom-pom tree.

  • Santa Claus Card 

Everyone’s favorite Santa Claus is ready to greet your loved ones and win their hearts. Here, we have to cut out the stencils. Then paste them all together to make it look like the figure on the top right corner of the image and finally paste it on the base card.

    Six-pieces Christmas Tree Card

This will definitely look alluring on the cover of the card. In order to make these cards, we must cut out five squares. The width must decrease with each square. Fold them into a rectangle along with folding each corner so the edges line up at the bottom. Paste the smallest rectangle on the base card and then another one slightly on top of it in ascending manner. 

  • Open up Christmas Tree Card

This card is as easy to make as it looks. We need to fold the left half and right half of the card towards it’s centre. Then, we will take a squared green paper smaller in size than the card, fold it into a rectangle. Draw half a Christmas tree along the fold, cut and open it to get a complete Christmas tree. We are required to cut the tree along it’s fold, paste each half on one fold of the card. With this we are done and dusted.

  • String Art Cards 

String art Christmas cards are a new way to embellish your present and also makes it stand out. With the help of embroidery threads and needles, we can make a Christmas tree. The design being simple zig-zag paths or straight lines running throughout the card. Many detailed designs are also available to prettify the card.

  • Hama Beads Christmas Card

These hama beads can go along with any design we have in our minds. Be it a snowflake, a gift box, a Christmas tree or a blauber. Our work is to merely draw an outline of the design and paste the hama beads. It gives the card a magnificent look.

These top folding cards with the glittery sequins add to the festive vibes. Cut a circular window from the front fold for the snow globe and draw a small stand beneath it. At the back fold, paste a stencil of a circle of the same radius just below the window. At last, paste trees and snow hillocks with the help of stamp sets and add sequins to the work.
