Introduction
The current coronavirus Pandemic has lighted a certain sort of emotional numbness in everyone. People are going through physical, emotional and, mental turmoil. In these tough times, hope and faith are turning out to be sole lifesavers.
With the public hoping that this huge suffering will come to an end soon, only prayers are left to be answered. The death toll has taken a rise, and people are struggling to get oxygen and hospital beds, there is no other way apart from hoping and praying for the best.
Hope
In the words of Christopher Reeve, ‘Once you Choose Hope, Anything is Possible.’ If you sit and continue to feel hopeless, nothing is going to change or be optimistic. The thing that is destined to happen will inevitably happen. Nobody can stop it and it is out of our hands. However, our happiness and mental peace are in our hands.
So, being hopeless accompanied by a melancholic mood will only gift us a sad phase. But, hoping for things to get better and having an optimistic outlook can save us from the jaws of misery and depression.
Faith
Hope and faith might appear to be identical words. But, the truth is, they are not exactly similar. While hope accounts for wishing something good and fruitful, faith allows you to believe. A belief that life will turn out better and a belief that things will change for the good.
It is completely understandable in these tough times to lose faith in everything. With things becoming worse day by day, losing one’s mental sanity is not surprising. But, the ones who still hold on to the notion that things will be fine one day, are the happiest and most satisfied at this point.
Faith may not end all your problems, but it will surely provide you with the power to deal with your troubles.
Count your Blessings
Although the time is tough, and in these tough times, counting your blessing seems an activity in vain, but it will help you to gain some positivity in the long run. There are a vast number of things that you possess, which others might not be lucky enough to have. For instance, the food that you get to eat or the clothes that you get to wear, be grateful for them. Count them as your blessing.
An entire list can be made out consisting of people who do not even get to acquire the necessities of life. These people crave everything that you have access to. But, even after praying incessantly and wanting the luxuries, they do not get it.
So be content with whatever you have at the present. Even in worse or tough times, always remember that all that you have might be an average need for you, but it might be a distant dream for someone else.

Chant Positivity
With sadness and darkness taking a charge of one’s life, positivity is the most important need in one’s life. Positivity gives you a ray of hope, it enables both hope and faith to replace negativity.
Positive wordings and statements will not only enable you to lift your mood and mind peace but will also ensure that you stay strong in the toughest of situations.
Some assertions that can help you overcome your internal negativity are:
- I will come out stronger.
- I will pass through this with ease.
- This suffering will soon come to an end.
- I am the best, there is nobody who can deal with this better than me.
Conclusion
In these tough times, keeping up with the world is not easy. People are praying day in and out so that this pandemic comes to an end. But, the universe has other plans for it. Sitting idle and cribbing about things not working out might make you feel a little better. But this will not improve your mental health for the future course of time.
Everybody wants to complain about things, but it will bring no change in your lifestyle. However, having faith in yourself that you can deal with all the pandemic pressure easily and never giving up hope will in one way or the other help you deal with stress. It will heal you for the better and make you a stronger person in and out.
