Working with fashion designers
While working on a fashion shoot, you need to be the designers’ display. The designer wants to fit the clothing on you until it hangs and looks perfect. Therefore, it needs to have patience on our side. Concentrate on what the designers have to say carefully, and clear out doubts at the moment. You must not be disrespectful, but at the same time and in a nice way, learn to demand respect as well. Developing the designer as your friend may ease up your work, and you can enjoy your work leaving stress behind. Working with the Photographer

The photographer is the one who has a lot of stress to deal with, on any shoot. They are working with less time to have as several good shots as possible in one day. He or she will also have the light against them if you have an outdoor shoot. Thus, your day will be shorter as well as stressful. You must give your best to the camera, follow the directions carefully and properly to make the photographer’s life easier. Besides, you should not argue unless it is urgent, and try not to talk back and complain. Your good side to the photographer should be your priority. Also, it will help you to get more work in the future, as photographers will ask for you repeatedly if they enjoy working with you. However, it is an important etiquette in the modeling arena to be helpful for everyone’s work.
Working with the Make-up Artist and Hair Stylist
Make-up artists and hairstylists are the people in charge of your look and appearance for the shoot. They have been given instructions on how light or dark your makeup should be, how to style your hair, and what should your overall look portray. Your look may require even a Gothic style with dark eyes and lips, and wildly hairs as well. But it is not a place to argue about your look, so do not do so. Be patient and humble towards them. You need to be calm to get the right look. Indeed, it is the important thing that how the client wants you to look like. You should not argue unless it is something drastic. You must be asked before the time if anything like a haircut or dye is planned or suggested. Be prepared.
Etiquette Before A Shoot

- Be ready for your shoot usually 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time.
- You need to have clear bruise-free skin.
- To hydrate your skin, always drink plenty of water.
- Your teeth must be clean and white.
- Wash your hair on the same day of the shoot, to keep them clean.
- The sleep of at least 8 hours is a must before the shoot, to have a fresh day.
- Your fingernails and toes should be manicured softly and naturally.
- A model is always expected to maintain good hygiene.
As a model, when you have to work in any industry, with all other professionals, you will come to know that the modeling arena is not limited to the models only. You need to give and earn respect from all these professionals. Otherwise, you will not get any space in the modeling world. Therefore, you need to follow the above model etiquette.
